Which One Are you??!!

Its been sometime since I have written a blog. Apologies if you were waiting for one, Apologies to people who hate my blogs. Can't change, old habits die hard. Small Update: I have been busy with my studies (Lie!!). Honestly, I have been too lazy and bored of studies. As well as searching for next challenging opportunity (Simply put: JOB!)
This blog is about my opinions. I have seen people like my blogs at the same time some hate it! I love both the emotions. Everyday I have been talking to people over my credentials and ability to perform for them. However, people ask why particular field you are interested? And people advice me to be flexible!! I am sure, you must have heard this many times during your career discussions. People ask you to be flexible! Meaning "Be ready to work in any stream rather than a particular field!!".
I thought about this FLEXIBILITY! and came up with " THE TRIPLE threat MODEL (TTtM)". What the hell am I talking about? does it make sense? (Its my opinion! Not all my opinions make sense! nor they should matter!). What does the TTtM talk about? Who is it about? Its about people, meaning you, me and everyone in this world. All the people in this world can be categorized into THREE different groups. This is a Strict Career based grouping.

The FIRST group is made up of all the people who are interested to do just one thing in life, meaning they have a clear focus on a particular field and just could not get their focus off that area of interest and want to get expertise. This group would not accept anything but working in that area or job opportunities in that particular field only and not look beyond it.
The SECOND group of people are those who are interested in gaining expertise in a particular field but are fine with working in any field either related to core area or unrelated. They are fine with diversification, as this helps them broaden the horizon. They are not fixated about working in any particular field even though they have substantial expertise or they aspire to gain substantial expertise in one field of interest.
The THIRD group is one which does not have interest in any one field, however is fine to work in any field irrespective of what it is, as they don't have a focused interest. Its fine. This group is quite complacent about gaining expertise or not! they are also happy with what they have!!!
I wondered after writing this!! So what the hell I want to say??? What is the conclusion??
Why do people choose either of the THREE GROUPs in life? There is one word to the whole of this blog, Its called "INSECURITY (threat of TTtM)". The first group is INSECURE of moving away from one particular field, bcos they feel they have expertise and fear of being unsuccessful if they diversify. The second group feels the same but in the opposite way. This group feels INSECURE about the expertise it has on one particular field and feels the need to diversify in order to succeed. Finally, the third group, knows that they do not have expertise in one particular field nor they are fine with diversification. This INSECURITY makes them quite a generalists of sorts meaning they are fine with field!!! When looked at more seriously this differentiation across the world keeps the world in Balance similar to the Vegetarians and Non-vegetarians argument!!!
Its my Opinion!!

My 1st Training!!!!

Oh!, its very very nostalgic as I write this today!!! Honestly I think of that day and what can I say!!!! Everyone said how can a 23yr old train??? Impossible. But I had no options but to prove them wrong. I was scared, afraid but still had this huge expectations. I will spare u the gyan.
It was a rainy day. 12th Aug 2008, I was sitting in my office and was just going through my mails and I recieved a call from Mr.Anandram, My mentor as a Trainer. He said there is a training requirement in Bank of Rajasthan, A non-performing channel partner for our company. Though a rising stock. I was informed that I have to reach this place by 6, I agreed and left office at 5pm to reach this place in Gandhinagar, above Burma bazaar. It was nostalgic as that was the place I bought my first Video game as a kid.
I entered a old building, in the 1st floor of the building was the bank. I walked into the bank and met the branch manager, a 54yr old person. He greeted me with a smile and a big bucket of Tea.
Usually these typical north indian banks which have branches in south still maintain most of north habits and most important of them is the food habits and Tea is one them. I somehow explained him that I'm here to train them on a product Called-"Sachin Century Plan", And at 6.30pm the training started, the moment that happened the power went off, it started raining.

Isn't it not that unusual in bangalore?? the building was old and I could find water dripping all over the place, including my head. I still managed to be enthu about the whole affair because its my first training ever. I started and found myself surrounded by 14 people in the age group of 50-55yrs. It was kinda amazing, that all these people were listening to me and my presentation. I slowly got them to a discussion on certain aspects of the product and final ended the training with some committments to be achieved and a contest launch. It was 8pm and I was completely wet and the comp i was using to show the presentation had automatically shutdown.

Though I was completely not happy with the surrounding but realised life is not always easy, U need to be happy even when u cant be. But being afraid about something makes us to loose ourself. In any situation its important to be yourself and stand for things which matter to us. I realised this after I got the feedback that the training was very good and was well appreciated!!! It feels very good after doing 283 sessions and training close to 5,000 people for Aviva to have thought about my 1st.

Temple temple everywhere not a house for god!!!

My office is in heart of Jayanagar, that's 4th Block, and I stay in Malleswaram 15th cross, Opp. to LAte. Nobel Laurette C V Raman. Thats a place of worship, literally. Now the point of telling all of you is to make u aware the stretch of my house to office is about 13kms., In these 13kms I can find close to 100-200temples. I'm sure u would have realised by now what i'm pointing at. There are more than 33cr gods and still counting, And More than 10cr temples to house these 33cr ultra citizens. Have any one of us thought as to why we should have so many temples???

The richest temple of India Lord Venkateshwara is filled with cash and still the temple comes up with the idea that the god is not satisfied. Somebody offered the lord a 42cr jewel, the person who offered was from the same place where there were floods. What are we trying to do here? I never saw god sending out mails asking for these things. The biggest gift we could offer to god is our prayers. I'm sure we all heard the saying" Work is Worship". Is this really the truth??? we take leaves, give reasons, and do possibly everything to make sure we bunk work to attend temples. Slowly we are trying to make sure god is our partner in everything we do wrong. Pls think abt this once. Why so many temples are required? why do we offer so many offerings to god?? arent we trying our best to ask god for forgiveness for everything we do wrong.

I'm sure u would have heard abt a movie called "Zakhm" which had a song "Ghar se masjid hai bahut duur to yu karle, kisi rote hue bacchhe ko hasaya karle", Isnt this so true??? I hope we stop bribing god for all the wrong things we do and then say I had to do this. The best prayer what u can always do is to stand by whats right and do right. Pls let me know if there's any disconnect. God is a feeling of being with some one when u feel alone, its being afraid to do wrong or think bad or do ill for others. Its the honesty with which you justify ur salary. Its the trust people have on you. This is god.

What's so well BEing Unwell!!!

What a topic to write about, especially when u're not feeling well from last 4days!!. Spare a thought!!!

U're suffering from High FEVER(Viral san H1N1), ur body aches, eyes are burning, nose is flowing(literally!!!), and ur own clothes hurt u(once known as the most comfortabl part of u!!!). If u come out of house u'll look a person from the stone age who's been a working in a coal mines dont know since how long!!!!

But whats so positive about being unwell?? thats what i found out in the last four days of my life!!! In our speedy and racy life we tend to forget the most important person of our life and thats us means u for urself and I for myself(my english taught me this!). Otherwise the only thing that would occupy ur day will be ur work, more work and finally some disappointments and regrets to complete ur day!!! what a great way.

Anyways coming back to the topic, the good thing about being unwell is:-
1. No need to go to office.
2. still get paid for the days u take rest(sick leave i meant unless u have exhausted them for some other reasons!!)
3. Opportunity to send ur cell into "not so reachable mode".
4. No need to compulsorily take bath.
5. Eat bland food, get tongue back to shape. After complete rape of it.(not literally)
6. Write blogs, check mails, talk to forgotten, far staying, stingy, non-responding, irritating frens whom u always miss!!!!(Irony of life)-subba and amith refering u!!!
7. think about forgotten frens, frens gone for life, and beyond.
8. Last but not the least about yourself. The only fren u rely when u're in trouble, honestly( other than u paanwala)
In this work and other things we would have left so many things un-noticed, unseen, unspoken, untouched, etc etc etc.,
Rest I'm sure u guys are much intelligent!!!!

Midnight Buffet at The Chancery!!!!

Honestly, the most used word of mine.... signature some times, Had never any such experience after my call center work. Long back during my engineering days... that was!!!
After a big ballistic party at HINT!! first time again, It was 12.30am. The DJ shouted the last song and then I realised the party given to thank me, for all the effort i poured into this team for 1yr. It was a great experience when people whom you helped come up the curve and all of them host a party just to say "thank you". I'm to an extent emotional. There was literally tears in my eye when 12 people took mike to say thank u adi. Anyways, coming back to the topic. It was 11.30pm and we all walked down the steps, from loud sound to ultimate silence and u still love it, such a contradiction of life!!!!
We all got into our vehicles and started moving towards Empire on the Church only to realise the hotel was closed. Can U believe who came to our help, I dailed 080-23333333 and there was our fren Rahul, who said "Hi Mr.Adithya, How can I help??" and my answer was "hahahhaha", for obvious reasons, i told boss only u can help, We all were starving. He referred us to THE CHANCERY!!!!Meanwhile one of my colleague who was high on cola, was standing on a bike and riding it!!! he was actually trying to take Off!!! itseems. Isn't human mind a great thing?
then we entered to Chancery at 12.30am and to our surprise we were'nt the only starving group. The hotel was completely filled and we were made to wait for an hour!!!! can u beat it?? at 1.30am a table was given to us. But then as they say the rest is history, I was having my dinner or early breakfast u can call it the way u want it to be. I bumped into One of great Cricketers Greg Chappel, can u believe it??? so al the twelve went and spoke to him on various issues, such as cricket, and some more cricket and finally li'l bit more cricket. Then everyone was asked to share there view on each other, as a silent spectator I heard such good things about how each team member liked the other person(no SEC.377).
Though the day was too eventful, The most important was to find the respect the people whom think really dont care about u show when they are least expected. Thats when u feel over burdened and loved and cared!!!! U feel privileged to be part of them!!

pUrSuIt Of HAPP'Y'NESS!!!!

Recently I saw a movie which i liked the most, Chris Gardner, a seller of outdated bone scanner. Isn't it foolish..... wife suggested!!!! Slowly he realises the business was not taking him anywhre... but wasnt his mistake to take things lightly??? when I was watching this movie I remebered a book called Who moved my cheese...... but to my amusement i realised this book was not released before this movie's adaptation book!!!
The movie i am talking is PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Everytime I think about these things they send me into trance....... The most commonly repeated dialogue of the movie, Thomas Jefferson's declaration of Independence. What is the happiness we're looking for? Chris's ability to provide basics things of life to his family? Or is capacity to make his wife feel that he is a complete looser?
Actually after some times i realised not.... Its his capability to make himself realise that he can be part of this world. Which has no place for loosers, filled with hpocrites isn;t it? Its his ability make his son not realise the ill effects of being part of a world completely filled with selfish and self obsessed people.... Make Mr. Frakish realise he can be much better than a person who parks cars, gets coffee.... and lends $1o...
The scene in which he takes his son to the public loo and tells him stories to pacify, the scene in which he pulls his son to get into the bus and christopher(his son) looses his Captain America, are too touchy but they end up teaching some strong and deep routed lessons of life....
But at the same time the scenes of Football match comes back with a strong message that everything in this life is a phase.... happiness makes u feel good.... but bad things teach u... and most importantly makes u sturdy enough to go through the same phase again.... best example is SWINE FLU..... once it comes and u r still alive.... u r less likely to get affected again by it.... ur body builds resistance to it...
The last few scenes of the movie show the silver lining of the clouds, the scene in which he meets the person who got him the job in the loo and that person says whatever happens, he was proud of chris, the scene where he was called by Mr. Frakish and people compliment on wearing a shirt to the office.... and when he is congratulated for being the better among the best. Thats when u realise all this is worth for that one moment of glory.... is this wat we call PURSUIT OF HAPP'Y'NESS!!!???!!! the question marks to question the result and the way it came through...

Is this wat i wanted??

I have always thought wat we all wanted.... but never realised. I wanted my life to be very very simple.. uncomplicated, not complex, very very simple.... where there are things which make my family and people around happy... is this too much... we some time get so involved in our things we forget wats life is leading us to.... Is it wrong to ask for some one who stands by u. supports u. fights with u and for u?? emotions are sad loose motions which start and just dont seem to end...... even when u take inhibitors..... care of people who love u.... expecting them to be around... is it all i wanted??? the answer is yes/....... thats all..... because it is important to realise that once these things happen u cannot be laid back.. because the love and care of this people make u push for more. acheive greater heights for these people... the best acheivers in the world say the biggest thing they have got in life is the one what they call as the greatest strength whose love and care have inspired them to achieve greater heights.....
The other part of the coin is very very funny.... because it puts not so worthy and unrealistic hopes.... People whom u love are good but its very importnat to find the people who love u.... who care for u.... expecting them to be their for u when u r weak, when u r not so fine, when u r not capable handling things.... is this wat i wanted?
sucess is meaningless when u realise there is no one to celebrate, I recently read a message, "Day by day nothing changed but when i looked back everthing was different".
